In operation for over 100 years earning over $4.1B annual revenue and employing over 12,000.
Role:
- This role serves as a copywriter, ghost writer, and storyteller who will provide support to the communications function for a business unit.

- Seek, write, and develop compelling content and stories for internal use including stories for internal announcements, newsletters, executive communications, and customer communications.
- Support internal employee communication programs and content management by publishing content, and maintaining and keeping content current.
- Provide tactical support for communication programs and operations including managing editorial calendars and related tracking, and routing of documents.
- Work with the communications team to write stories and execute internal announcements, executive communications, and customer communications.
- Write and edit communications, including internal announcements, executive leader messages and customer communications
- Review, revise and refine communications from internal stakeholders, with a focus on storytelling, and editing for grammar, AP style, clarity and brevity.
- Format, proofread and coordinate distribution of communications.
- Write and create internal articles for the intranet site.
- Coordinate town halls and the communication needs of larger employee events.
- Leverage digital tools to track the results of communications initiatives.
- Prepare reports and presentation materials that effectively demonstrate the outcomes of key communications initiatives.
- Provide suggestions, ideas, and support for improving current or new communications programs and campaigns.
- Balance work between internal communications programs, priorities, and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or a related field
- Superior writing skills including 4 – 6+ years of experience storytelling and writing compelling content in accordance with AP style guidelines.
- 2+ years of professional experience in the corporate communications, employee communications, public relations or journalism field.
- Excellent verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in LumApps, Poppulo, Staffbase, and/or Google Workspace is a plus.
- Experience working in a public relations agency or for a publicly traded company is a plus.
- Experience working in the financial services or technology sectors is a plus.
